To superimpose pre treatment and post treatment images, you may click on the «Comparison » button of the toolbar or select the “Tools – Comparison” menu.

This comparison process is possible only with cephalometric points’ coordinates located and saved in two different Procuste files.

When comparing, a vertical strip showing the 18 landmarks checked is displayed. In usual generalised superimposition all landmarks are checked

When some landmarks are unchecked, the are no more used for fitting but follow rotations and translations required to superimpose checked landmarks. (e.g. to superimpose on basicranium landmaks Se, Ba, Pt and Na are checked and the 14 others unchecked)

During this superimposition the image background appears automatically blank to ease comparison. The original background may be retrieved by clicking on the background erasing button
